About Montegrazie
Montegrazie: Heritage, Quality, and Global Distribution

Our Story
In 1910, President Theodore Roosevelt visited the picturesque village of Montegrazie, nestled in the hills of Liguria, Italy. Captivated by the serenity of its sanctuary and the excellence of its olive oil — praised locally as “green gold” — he became part of a historic moment: the first olive oil export from Montegrazie to the United States.
In his honor, the city of Imperia named one of its main streets Corso Roosevelt.
